Deepika Padukone reveals Tissot watches latest Collection

Mumbai, Oct 13 (IBNS) Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone launched a boutique of swiss watch maker Tissot, at Phoenix Mills here on Wednesday. Brand ambassador Deepika was joined by Francois Thiebaud, President, Tissot , at the opening of the boutique.

“I appreciate their aesthetic qualities but also find Tissot watches to be extremely comfortable whilst exuding the perfect style statement. Each timepiece is the right blend of sophistication coupled with the finest Swiss watch making technology. Practical yet superbly stylish,” said Deepika.

The boutique, offers an exclusive selection of the brand’s most celebrated products, including T-Touch, MotoGP collection, Quadrato, and the latest addition being the PRS 516, for the motorsport enthusiasts.

Thiebaud said “Given this is our second exclusive boutique after the first one at Atria Mall in Mumbai is testament to the skills of Tissot’s Swiss craftsmanship and design precision, making it a must have for a watch connoisseur.”

The Swiss watch brand has been appointed as the Official Timekeeper for the 19th Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.

Deepika Padukone goes nude posture

Whether Deepika Padukone is totally nude or partly, it can’t be known but Dabboo Ratnani’s new 2010 calendar shows her in a nude posture. “I wanted to make her look sensual, but aesthetic. Last year, I had shot her in a sari, so this is in total contrast. She strikes a thinking, dreamy pose, and I have used lighting to match her mood, said Dabboo. Deepika Padukone poses bare on a sofa.

Every year Ratnani has something unique stored for his calendar and this time too he has used some yesteryears shades, black and white. Like every year this year too the stars has kept their diary vacant for Ratnan’s photo shoot.

Many bigwigs of Bollywood posed for the calendar. “The 2010 calendar includes the Big B, Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kajol, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, John Abraham, Sonam Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut among others. Ratnani feels that every star looks hot in his calendar. “They are all my friends and go out of their way to cooperate. For me they all look hot.”

Deepika Pairs up with Salman in "Kick"

In her first two years in the industry Deepika Padukone has worked with some of the top stars including Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Now, she’s reportedly paired up with Salman Khan for Ghajini director A R Murugadoss’s next Hindi film titled ‘Kick’.

To be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will be a remake of this year’s namesake Telugu hit starring Ravi Teja.

An action-packed thriller, it will have Salman doing breath-taking stunts. The star will reportedly undergo martial arts training and will also learn kickboxing for his role. Besides stunts, ‘Kick’ will have dollops of humour, and Nadiadwala is learnt to have roped in Abhijat Joshi, the co-writer of Munnabhai flicks, to pen the script.

Nadiadwala says he wants the action and stunts in ‘Kick’ to be much better than what’s been seen previously in Salman’s films, including Wanted.

The film’s action scenes will reportedly be shot in Tokyo.

Well, Salman has quite a task cut out for him.
