Delhi Travel Tips for Foreign Tourists

Delhi is the beautiful city and the place of historical monuments. These monuments attracts large number of tourists from around the world. If you are planning for Delhi travel, you should be aware of the society of and lifestyle of Delhiites. Here are some safety tips for the foreigners are tourists :

• Delhi is either extremly hot in the summer or very cold in the winter. So the best season to visit Delhi during the period of January to March and September to November.

• Beware of unknown travel guides and travel agents. Conform your travel tickets, accommodation, etc in advance.

• Keep safety to your luggage and other belongings specially at railway stations, airports, bus terminals and crowdy places.

• Be cautious of the pickpocket while moving around in crowded places or buses. Keep your purses and wallets safely.

• Donot carry too much of cash while moving. Use plastic money instead of using cash. When you need money, use ATM for the cash.

• Police PCR vans are available if you face any threat from the stranger or just dial 100 number for help.

• If you are female, prefer wearing full troursers instead of capri, flimsy, or mini specially in Old Delhi areas.

• A map of Delhi will help tourists avoid getting lost in the city. In this case, get help from Delhi traffic police.

Deepika Wants to pair with Salman Khan

Having given her the big break through Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone places Shahrukh Khan at the top, but she is not averse to work with his arch rival Salman Khan. She said that she would love to work with Salman.

Deepika, who is currently basking in the success of Love Aaj Kal, said that she has been very lucky to work with big Bollywood names from Shahrukh to Akshay Kumar to Saif Ali Khan at the outset of her career. She added that she would love to work with Salman.


Interestingly, Deepika has a good opinion of Salman though she is said to be not getting along too well with Katrina Kaif after the reports of her closeness with Ranbir Kapoor flashed on the papers. She feels that Salman is a very honest person who is genuine about his feelings. She added that he seems to be very caring.

Now, Deepika has made it clear that she has no qualms working with Salman. Are you ready Salman?

Deepika Doing Two comedy At a Time

Deepika Padukone has now moved on to comic roles with Sajid Khan's Housefull and Karthik Calling Karthik where Farhan Akhtar co-stars.

Her earlier roles included Chandni Chowk To China (action genre), Om Shanti Om (heavy melodrama) and Bachna Ae Haseeno (romantic comedy).

While she has wrapped the shoot of Karthik Calling Karthik, she is currently shooting for Housefull in London.

‘Love Aaj Kal’ beats Aamir's 'Ghajini’ record

Saif-Deepika starrer ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which opened to packed houses all over, has reached the top slot in many places beating ‘Ghajini’, which was a record setter last year.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ has released in over 1,800 screens and has reportedly taken over the highest grosser of 2008, ‘Ghajini’.

Industry insiders reveal that the film has taken a superb initial and the opening is at par with ‘Ghajini’. The film is being expected to soon emerge as one of biggest hits in the overseas market as well.

LAK seems to have struck a chord with the youth with its contemporary approach to love relationships in urban India, where the characters are not hesitant about calling off their relationship to chase their personal goals.

Well, with the way LAK is going, it seems that Saif Ali Khan is surely emerging as the No 1 Khan (as he claimed in one of his recent revelations)!
